• If you're looking for a stylish sleeve for a 13" MacBook Air that sufficiently protects it while maintaining a svelte footprint , the 13 by Knomo is an outstanding candidate. The brown exterior is polished enough to feel appropriate in a Boardroom, yet casual enough to not appear out of place on a coffee table. The sizing is perfect. The MacBook Air effortlessly slides into the padded compartment (unlike some other sleeves out there), yet does not feel loose or at all unsecured with the flap closed. Because it retains a thin profile, it slides neatly into another larger bag for travel or tucks underneath your arm for a trip across the room. The exterior finish grips securely in one hand, and the interior lining feels at once very smooth and durable. Perhaps the only potential issue stems from the tendency of the two metal snaps on the flap, which will occasionally contact the computer as it slides in a dn out of the case. I've certainly seen no physical marks or abrasions on the MacBook Air, and it seems like the flap in less "trained" to lean the snaps in that direction the more I break in the case, so I expect this to be a non-issue for me.
  
  This is a great sleeve that I've recommended to everyone I know that carries this computer. It clearly builds upon the fine tradition of Knomo.
