Knomo Laptop Sleeve Review ~ Holiday Gift Guide

I love surprises! I was delightfully dazzled the other day when my husband came home with a new Dell 15″ laptop. My birthday is just around the corner and he got a great deal on it. Everyone in our family has their own laptop and mine broke about 2 years ago and I just never got around to replacing it. So this was an awesome surprise.

Taking care of a laptop requires using good habits like not eating and drinking when using it, and yes we’ve all done it and regretted it.  Also very important is putting it away properly in a case or sleeve, and not just leaving it on the kitchen peninsula where an awful fate may befall it.

When it comes to laptop fashionable accessories Knomo is one of the leaders in creating some gorgeous top quality  sleeves.  The Slim laptop sleeve is chic, stylish and slender with functionality incorporated in it’s design for the contemporary person.

What I really loved about the Slim is the padded quilted fabric it is made out of. It has a silky nylon feel to it and it wipes clean very nicely. The fabric is thick enough to protect your laptop from those bumps and bangs that are bound to happen yet thin enough so it’s not bulky.

To open the sleeve you slide dual zippers from the front to the back corner of each side and the handle folds back. The inside is made from a soft fabric so you won’t scratch your laptop. I also like the way the sleeve opens, there is no chance of anything falling inside so your laptop has the ultimate protection.

The front has a small zipper and pouch compartment where smaller items will fit and is detailed with Knomo silver buttons which I think gives it a trendy look.  I can easily put my cell phone in the small pouch and some flash drives or keys in the zipper compartment.

The back of the Slim is all pouch for you to put manuals, files or your adapter.  It was a snug fit but my adapter did fit and it pretty much filled all the space. It has a handle on top to carry your laptop which was a comfortable hold for me but it was a little tight for my husband who has much bigger hands.  It also has a shoulder strap that can be worn on the shoulder or extended and worn across the body.

Each Knomo product is given a unique ID code which is in the inside and fitted with a permanent “If Lost” tag. It’s a bright red number that is unique to your item. If you should happen to lose your Knomo product the finder can log onto Knomo and you can be reunited with your item.  You must register your purchase on line so they have your unique ID code and your contact information.  What a fabulous feature.
