The iPad Slim from Knomo, the maker of worthy laptop bags, sleeves and Apple accessories, is the company's first iPad sleeve. While typically not cheap, it's another quality item that's both fashionable and durable. We have been using the Slim on our travels since summer and can report it has kept our iPad well protected and free of any significant marks and scratches.

As Knomo notes, the simple slipcover design is made from full-grain leather with a crushed-velveteen lining that screams luxury, but quietly. An equally simple pull-tab mechanism ensures quick iPad access without having to grip one end awkwardly and tug away. Nicely padded, but not bulky, the snug fit Slim comes with some attractive, discreet stitching that adds to the overhaul quality feel.
