What a load of Election waffle…
We love new concepts in the dining experience here at knomo, and so when we heard about Bompas and Parr’s Parliamentary Waffle House, a pop up election-based bar and eatery near to Carnaby Street, London, we couldn’t wait to check it out. With Houses of Parliament-style seating and non-stop coverage of the election, the makeshift Commons invites you to experience a taste of being an MP while experiencing some tasty waffles!

Ricky Gervais talks at Apple store, London for new film ‘Cemetery Junction’
On Friday knomo headed down to the Apple Store on Regent Street to see Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant discuss their new film Cemetery Junction (their first joint feature film) which they co-wrote and directed. The talk was not only enlightening, but absolutely hilarious as the comedy double-act bounced off each other, giving responses to questions from T4’s Rick Edwards.

Last Days of Decadence…a charity event for Medicinema

With London being a hotbed for creative talent and uber-cool venues, it is only logical that now and again some amazing events come along that celebrate the creative talent within our great city, in some of the coolest spots in town. Throw in a good dollop of charity do-gooding and you have the makings of a seriously good party. Last Days of Decadence’s event in Shoreditch, London was just that, supporting Medicinema, a charity that helps hospital patients enjoy the sights and sounds of the cinema for therapeutic healing and much-needed escapism. knomo wanted to get involved and help support their good work and supplied a (now sold-out) raffle prize of a sumptuous Rubi in ostrich print leather.
