Chirp off the old block
It’s the latest craze… Ashton Kutcher and P Diddy have a million people watching them doing it. Jennifer Anniston dumped John Mayer for doing it. And it seems you’re no one if you’re not doing it too. It’s the site that needs no introduction – but I did one anyway – twitter.com.

Slow Down! London…
We all know the tale of the hare and the tortoise, but do we ever think of the benefits of stepping down a gear? For many city-dwelling commuters like us who live life in the fast lane, it can be tempting to let the city’s endless conveyor belt dictate our fast-paced lifestyle. But maybe it’s about time we listened to that wise old tortoise and took the scenic route for once. ‘Slow Down London’ is a new project intended to inspire Londoners to hold their horses and teach us how to, well, slow down.
With festivals, events and general encouragement SDL is giving us a chance to rediscover things like yoga and meditation, slow music, slow travel and the opportunity to challenge the cult of speed. Apparently the benefits include an ‘improved quality [of life], creativity and wellbeing’. From slow food markets, slow breakfast offers at Royal Festival Hall’s award winning Canteen, to nice slow walks, it’s easy to see that hitting the brakes occasionally may not be so bad after all.

Time for tee? knomo sponsor star-studded charity event…
Spending a warm Thursday evening with Samuel L Jackson has gotta be one of the coolest things you can do, and we don’t mean to brag, but…visa-vie, we are pretty cool! OK, so we were sharing him with 300 other people, but considering amongst the crowd were the likes of Luke Wilson, Colin Salmon, Alice Cooper and Flex Alexander, we won’t complain.
knomo were proud sponsors of the ‘Shooting Stars and Desert Nights’ charity event, hosted by Mr. Jackson himself last Thursday, in aid of the Samuel L Jackson Foundation and the Rainbow Trust. The event comprised a celeb-captained golf event during the day and then gala dinner in the evening, and the whole thing kicked off with a pairing-dinner at celeb-hotspot Hakkasan; where all the players were given their very own knomo ‘Wickham’ briefcase, packed with golfing essentials. The next morning the players hit the greens accompanied by their celeb team captains, where Alice Cooper ran away with the victory scoring a 73, followed by the Black and White Ball in the evening, with Michelin-starred cuisine and the still-suave Michael Bolton (who’s actually a bit of a silver fox) crooning on the mike.

God Save the Queen (of shops!)
It’s not everyday that we deal with royalty, and when it comes to fashion royalty, few are better to work with than Mary Queen of Shops. The legendary PR-supremo turned retail-savior hit the headlines when she rescued Independent fashion retailers the country-over last year and now she is back with a more charity-focused effort.  knomo have been getting into the spirit of things by offering some best-selling goodies for sale.
